Guest Laundry Supervisor – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Guest Laundry Supervisor will lead the laundry, dry‑cleaning and valet operations for Raffles The Red Sea, a luxury resort within Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea Project. Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you will ensure that all guest textiles meet the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and timeliness.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance checks on all processed items to guarantee spotless, damage‑free and properly pressed delivery.
• Supervise daily laundry, dry‑cleaning and valet activities, create work schedules and conduct briefings aligned with guest priorities and VIP requirements.
• Fulfill specific guest requests such as light starch, particular folding techniques or urgent service timelines.
• Record guest charges accurately in the Opera Property Management System and manage inventory of chemicals and supplies.
• Inspect laundry machinery regularly for defects and ensure safe use of equipment and cleaning chemicals.
• Train staff on Luxury Quality Assessment (LQA) standards and mentor them in high‑end textile care and spotting procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in luxury laundry operations, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Pre‑opening experience is essential for this location.
• Post‑secondary education or a degree in Hospitality or Business Administration is preferred.
• Impeccable grooming, high attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Opera Property Management System.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
