About the role

The Head Butler leads the Butler Services team at Raffles Makkah Palace, ensuring that every guest experience meets the highest standards of luxury and Arab hospitality. Reporting to the Duty Manager, the role combines operational oversight with hands‑on service to maintain flawless suite operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily Butler Services operations, guaranteeing smooth service delivery and maximum guest satisfaction.
• Manage shift schedules, ensuring all Butler‑related services adhere to established standards.
• Coach, develop and mentor Butler staff to achieve performance and succession goals.
• Oversee suite equipment set‑up, food & beverage service, restocking, and supply management.
• Provide exceptional customer service, handling guest enquiries, complaints and follow‑up procedures.
• Prepare and submit accurate operational reports in a timely manner.
• Liaise with other hotel departments to coordinate daily operational needs.
• Maintain and update detailed guest preference databases.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a hospitality or luxury service environment.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Highly responsible, reliable and able to work calmly under pressure.
• Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to focus on guest needs.

Required skills

• Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows applications.
