About the role

We are looking for a senior academic leader to steer teaching and learning excellence within a leading higher‑education institution. The Head of Academic Development will champion academic quality, faculty growth and institutional effectiveness, shaping the future direction of the institute.

Key responsibilities

• Lead academic quality and continuous improvement initiatives across all programmes.
• Oversee curriculum review, assessment frameworks and learning‑outcome evaluation.
• Support accreditation readiness, compliance and quality‑assurance processes.
• Drive institutional effectiveness and enhance academic performance.
• Partner with senior academic stakeholders to strengthen teaching excellence and student outcomes.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing academic development team.

Required profile

• PhD qualification.
• Previous faculty or teaching experience.
• Significant experience in higher education, academic quality, accreditation or institutional effectiveness.
• Strong understanding of accreditation frameworks and academic assessment.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder‑management experience.
