Head of Accounting

About the role

PayLink is seeking a Head of Accounting to lead its accounting function in Al Khobar. This full‑time, on‑site position will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong financial governance within a fast‑growing fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the complete accounting function, including general ledger management.
• Supervise month‑end and year‑end closing processes and prepare statutory financial statements.
• Lead financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and provide financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Manage, mentor and develop the accounting team.
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to improve systems and controls.

Required profile

• Strong accounting expertise with mastery of core accounting principles.
• Proven experience preparing and reviewing statutory and management financial reports.
• Solid finance and analytical skills for forecasting and decision support.
• Experience leading accounting teams and coaching staff.
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements; fintech experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• High attention to detail, integrity and ability to work cross‑functionally on‑site.
