Head of Anti-Fraud

About the role

Tabby, a fast‑growing BNPL fintech, is looking for a dynamic Head of Anti‑Fraud to lead its fraud risk management strategy. You will protect the platform and customers from fraudulent activity while ensuring compliance with SAMA regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Use data analysis, statistical modelling and fraud detection tools to spot suspicious patterns and anomalies in financial transactions.
• Develop and implement an anti‑fraud strategy aligned with SAMA Anti‑Fraud Rules.
• Execute processes for anti‑fraud risk management, conduct investigations and prepare reports for the Board of Directors.
• Collaborate with the credit risk team to create and continuously improve fraud prevention rules and scenarios.
• Act as the main point of contact for SAMA, presenting Tabby’s anti‑fraud policies, processes and metrics.
• Raise internal awareness of fraud risks and stay updated on trends in BNPL, digital financing and payments.
• Periodically assess monitoring rules to validate detection and prevention efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in fraud prevention, preferably in fintech.
• Proven experience leading end‑to‑end standardisation of fraud risk identification and detection procedures.
• Strong analytical mindset, ability to work in ambiguous environments and ask incisive questions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with business and technical teams.
