Head of Commercial

About the role

The Commercial Director will lead and build Riyadh Development Company’s commercial function for its portfolio of mixed‑use and lifestyle developments. Reporting to executive leadership, you will shape and execute the commercial strategy across leasing, tenant curation, pricing, partnerships and revenue optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the commercial strategy for mixed‑use assets, defining revenue mix targets and pricing frameworks.
• Lead end‑to‑end commercial planning, integrating commercial requirements into development design and delivery.
• Oversee all leasing activities across retail, F&B, office, co‑working and community services, managing a curated pipeline of local, regional and international brands.
• Negotiate and execute lease and sales agreements with anchor tenants and strategic partners, optimising tenant mix for performance and asset value.
• Serve as primary commercial interface with investors, operators and development stakeholders, ensuring alignment with finance, legal and strategy teams.
• Establish the commercial operating model, including SOPs, tenant management frameworks, incentive structures and governance processes.
• Create performance dashboards and reporting tools to support executive decision‑making and portfolio monitoring.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead and establish a commercial function from the ground up.
• Experience working closely with executive leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong track record in commercial strategy for mixed‑use or lifestyle real‑estate projects.
