Head of Marketing – Ecommerce Marketplace Platform

About the role

We are launching a high‑growth digital marketplace in Saudi Arabia and need a strategic, results‑driven Head of Marketing to build and scale our marketing engine from the ground up. You will work closely with the founders and senior leadership to position the platform as a leading marketplace brand in the Kingdom.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing, branding, and growth strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Drive customer acquisition, app installs, user engagement, and market penetration across Saudi Arabia.
• Lead performance‑marketing campaigns on Google, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube and other digital channels.
• Build strong brand positioning, awareness, and customer loyalty.
• Design and manage CRM, retention, lifecycle marketing, and loyalty programs.
• Monitor and optimise key metrics such as CAC, ROAS, LTV, conversion and retention rates.
• Prepare and manage marketing budgets, forecasts and growth plans.
• Recruit, mentor and lead an in‑house marketing team and manage external agencies, influencers and partners.
• Collaborate with product, operations and technology teams to align initiatives with platform growth.
• Analyse campaign performance, customer behaviour and market trends for data‑driven decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Digital Marketing or related field (MBA a plus).
• 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership roles.
• Proven success in marketplaces, e‑commerce, tech startups or high‑growth digital businesses.
• Deep understanding of the Saudi Arabian and GCC consumer market.
• Strong analytical, communication and execution capabilities.
• Fluency in Arabic and English preferred.
