Head of Quality Assurance Section

About the role

The Head of Quality Assurance Section will lead the Planning & Control department in delivering robust quality assurance, risk mitigation and regulatory compliance across all banking operations. This senior position is responsible for shaping strategy, overseeing budgets, and ensuring that all processes meet internal and external standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the Planning & Control strategy aligned with business plans and regulatory requirements.
• Lead purchasing and contracting planning, coordinating with bank stakeholders.
• Review and update policies and procedures to comply with SAMA and cyber‑security regulations.
• Monitor CAPEX and OPEX budgets, prepare departmental budgets, and analyse financial performance.
• Oversee quality‑assurance activities, dashboards, and key performance indicators for supply‑chain and contract management.
• Drive system enhancements and automation initiatives within the Planning & Control function.
• Collaborate with section heads to report performance, address gaps and support continuous improvement.
• Manage internal controls testing plans and ensure risk mitigation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in quality assurance, planning & control, or related banking functions.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., SAMA) and cyber‑security standards.
• Proven ability to manage large budgets and financial performance metrics.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing cross‑functional teams and complex projects.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on risk reduction.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
