Head of Social Media

About the role

The Head of Social Media will act as the strategic leader and trusted advisor for both internal teams and external clients, guiding the development and execution of integrated social, PR, and influencer programs that drive brand relevance and earned media impact.

Key responsibilities

• Provide senior‑level strategic counsel to clients and internal teams, fostering innovation and integrated communications excellence.
• Lead the creation of integrated Social, PR, and Influencer strategies aligned with business objectives and audience insights.
• Drive breakthrough campaigns and activations that enhance cultural resonance and earned media.
• Build and nurture relationships with media, influencers, and key opinion leaders.
• Oversee influencer identification, contracting, engagement, and performance management.
• Shape compelling brand narratives across social, press, thought leadership, and influencer collaborations.
• Develop and grow engaged brand communities through purposeful content and platform‑specific strategies.
• Lead product launches, brand announcements, and reputation management initiatives.
• Ensure all content and creative assets uphold brand standards and deliver consistent storytelling.
• Use data, media monitoring, and analytics to evaluate performance and generate optimization insights.

Required profile

• Fluency in Arabic and strong communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• 8+ years of social media experience, including team leadership.
• Deep knowledge of major social platforms and influencer ecosystems.
• Strong writing, storytelling, and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Expertise with Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
• Proficiency in social management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
• Data analytics and media monitoring capabilities.
