Head of Unit – Fleet Management

About the role

The Head of Unit – Fleet Management will lead the entire fleet function across Hajj & Umrah, tourism, corporate, limousine and bus operations. You will ensure fleet availability, operational readiness, regulatory compliance and continuous service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the fleet management function, coordinating with Operations, Maintenance, Finance and compliance teams.
• Control fleet planning, monitoring, utilization and reporting to support data‑driven decisions.
• Drive the transition from manual fleet‑control processes to automated systems while maintaining strict oversight of permits, insurance, violations, expired documents and cost controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics or a related field (preferred).
• 8–12 years of experience in fleet management, transport control, logistics operations or similar leadership roles, preferably within Saudi transport or pilgrim‑service environments.
• Strong managerial abilities including team leadership, strategic thinking, problem solving, negotiation and cross‑functional coordination.
• Professional fluency in Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with fleet applications and GPS tracking systems.
• Experience using transport‑government portals and compliance platforms.
• Knowledge of company Ops System, TAM/tafwid processes, driver‑card workflows and Afaki tracking.
• Ability to generate operational reports and develop actionable plans.
