Heavy Equipment Assessor (Trainer)

About the role

Eram Talent, a global talent acquisition consultancy offering recruitment and certification solutions, is seeking experienced professionals to act as Heavy Equipment Assessors in Dammam. The assessor evaluates the competencies of heavy equipment operators so that they meet industry standards and safety requirements. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of heavy equipment operators' competencies, including practical and theoretical evaluations.
• Ensure assessments follow company policies and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate records of assessment results and provide detailed reports.
• Give constructive feedback to operators to improve their skills and safety practices.
• Work with the training team to help develop and update assessment materials.
• Help with quality assurance and compliance audits related to operator competency.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• At least 5 years of industrial experience in a specific role.
• 3 years of experience as an instructor or teacher.
• Technical qualification or diploma in the relevant craft or subject.
• Certification in a specific area such as heavy equipment (backhoe, bulldozer, forklift, wheel loader, backhoe loader, cranes, rigging) or similar.
• Previous experience in assessment or evaluation roles preferred; knowledge of training and assessment development is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation, including backhoe, bulldozer, forklift, grader, wheel loader, skid loader, sideboom and telehandler.
• Familiarity with industry safety standards and certification processes.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to give clear, constructive feedback.
