Hospital Management Information System Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Hospital Management Information System Analyst to lead the analysis, development, implementation and maintenance of our HMIS platform within the Medical Services Department. The role focuses on enhancing patient care, streamlining clinical and administrative workflows, and ensuring data accuracy and security.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze departmental requirements and translate them into detailed system specifications.
• Design workflows and configure the HMIS to meet operational needs.
• Develop, customize, and upgrade HMIS modules in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
• Coordinate deployment, integration with existing hospital systems, and ensure seamless infrastructure compatibility.
• Oversee data collection, validation, reporting, and enforce confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical support, training, and guidance to end‑users, troubleshooting issues promptly.
• Monitor system performance, conduct regular maintenance, and apply updates and security patches.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and user manuals; generate management reports.
• Identify and implement workflow automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Informatics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare IT, hospital information systems, or related domains.
• Proven experience in system analysis, design, implementation, and support within a clinical environment.
• Relevant certifications in Hospital Information Systems or Project Management are preferred.
