Hotel Sales Officer

About the role

The Hotel Sales Officer is responsible for driving revenue by promoting the hotel’s rooms, facilities and packages to corporate, government and leisure clients. This role combines client acquisition, relationship management and coordination with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Execute sales plans and strategies to meet revenue targets.
• Acquire new clients, retain existing ones, and build long‑term professional relationships.
• Promote rooms, facilities, services, packages and special offers.
• Target corporate clients, government entities, travel agencies, tourism companies and individual customers.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts and follow up to convert opportunities into bookings.
• Conduct field visits to prospective clients and organizations.
• Monitor competitors, market rates and promotional offers, providing recommendations to management.
• Coordinate with Reservations, Front Office and Operations to meet client requirements.
• Prepare regular sales reports covering activities, visits and opportunities.
• Achieve assigned KPIs and sales targets while complying with hotel policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel sales or serviced apartments.
• Proven B2B sales, client acquisition and hotel contracting experience.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Strong client portfolio management skills.
• Good knowledge of the hospitality market, rates and competitors.
• Ability to work in the field, conduct client visits and travel as required.
• Professional, proactive and results‑oriented personality with strong follow‑up skills.
• Valid driving licence.
• Arabic proficiency required; English proficiency an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and consistently achieve sales targets.
