Housekeeping Public Area Supervisor (Luxury Hotel)

About the role

The Housekeeping Public Area Supervisor leads the team responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of all public spaces in a luxury hotel environment. You will ensure that lobbies, restaurants, restrooms, and other guest‑accessible areas meet the high standards of Faena Red Sea while supporting a memorable guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily cleaning operations across all public areas, including lobbies, elevators, corridors, restrooms, spa zones and outdoor entrances.
• Develop and manage task checklists and schedules for Public Area Attendants to guarantee full coverage and timely completion.
• Conduct on‑the‑spot coaching, enforce brand standards, and perform quality inspections to uphold Forbes 5‑star service criteria.
• Coordinate with outsourced contractors for pest control, polishing, carpet shampooing and other specialised maintenance services.
• Maintain inventories of cleaning equipment, chemicals and consumables, flag irregularities and ensure timely replenishment.
• Handle guest complaints related to public‑area cleanliness and resolve them promptly.

Required profile

• Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or coordinator role.
• Familiarity with Forbes or 5‑Diamond service standards is preferred.
• Good understanding of hygiene, sanitation and safety regulations.
• Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
