Housing Coordinator

About the role

The Housing Coordinator supports the reservations team at a luxury resort, ensuring guests receive accurate and timely booking information. This full‑time, onsite position focuses on processing reservation requests, handling changes, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest needs, determine appropriate room types, verify availability and rates.
• Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
• Accommodate and document special requests and answer questions about property facilities.
• Use sales techniques to maximize revenue and communicate VIP reservation details.
• Enter and maintain data in the reservation system, including group rooming lists and room blocks.
• Set up proper billing accounts according to accounting policies.
• Maintain confidentiality, follow company policies, and uphold professional appearance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related experience in reservations or hospitality.
• No supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with reservation software.
• Strong verbal communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Ability to handle billing setup and follow accounting procedures.
