About the role
The HR & Admin Manager will lead the human resources function for an industrial organization, aligning HR initiatives with the overall business strategy. Reporting to senior management, the role is responsible for shaping talent, performance, and employee relations across the company.
Key responsibilities
- Direct the HR department and implement the company’s HR strategy.
- Represent the organization externally on HR matters.
- Develop and execute HR initiatives that support business objectives.
- Identify internal and external competency needs and drive talent acquisition.
- Ensure HR policies, goals, and standards align with corporate strategy.
- Foster open communication and encourage employee suggestions.
- Monitor HR performance, provide training, and report to the VP of Corporate Services.
- Manage government relations and ensure legal compliance.
- Oversee payroll, end‑of‑service benefits, vacations, and business travel.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and related procedures.
- Supervise employee services and performance appraisal systems.
- Assess training needs and manage training programs.
- Maintain a positive work environment and analyze turnover trends.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field.
- Completion of an HR‑focused course such as HR KPIs, CIPD, or HRCI.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR managerial role.
