HR Business Partner – Construction Industry

About the role

We are looking for a strategic HR Business Partner to support our construction business in Riyadh. The role will act as a trusted advisor to project leaders and corporate managers, ensuring HR initiatives align with business goals and that payroll processes are accurate and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders, project directors and department heads to translate business strategies into HR plans covering workforce planning, talent management and organizational design.
• Provide guidance on restructuring, succession planning and change management across head office and construction sites.
• Manage end‑to‑end payroll for all employees, validate salary components, overtime, allowances and deductions.
• Ensure payroll compliance with Saudi labour law, GOSI contributions, Wage Protection System (WPS) and company policies.
• Oversee GOSI registration, monthly submissions and end‑of‑service benefit calculations.
• Handle employee‑relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions and conflict resolution, and coach managers on difficult conversations.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess employee satisfaction and maintain direct engagement with site‑based staff.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role within a construction or heavy‑industry environment.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi labour legislation, GOSI and WPS requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive HR initiatives that support business objectives.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with both corporate and field teams.
