HSE Specialist – Health, Safety & Environment

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to lead health, safety and environmental initiatives for our operations in Saudi Arabia. The role involves designing, implementing and continuously improving HSE programs in line with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, update and maintain HSE policies and procedures according to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Conduct site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards, unsafe behaviours and environmental risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations, perform root‑cause analysis and produce detailed reports with preventive recommendations.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks and emergency drills for employees and contractors.
• Maintain safety performance logs, monitor key indicators and liaise with external regulatory authorities.

Required profile

• IOSH or NEBOSH certification (mandatory).
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Diploma or BSc in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum five years of HSE experience in construction, real‑estate or related sectors.
