Human Resources Generalist – Retail

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized Human Resources Generalist to support our HR department and ensure smooth HR operations within the retail sector. The role involves managing recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle: schedule interviews, coordinate with candidates and maintain recruitment records.
• Support onboarding processes by preparing documentation, conducting inductions and ensuring seamless transitions for new hires.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
• Administer payroll, address payroll‑related queries and ensure timely processing.
• Implement HR policies and monitor compliance with relevant regulations.
• Promote a positive, inclusive culture through HR initiatives.
• Maintain strong relationships with government offices and ensure statutory compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an HR Specialist or similar role.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Solid understanding of recruitment, onboarding and employee record management.
• Proficiency in HR software and quick learning of new systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Arabic.
• Proactive, flexible, team‑oriented and committed to confidentiality.
• HR or related qualification is a plus.
