HV Technician - Electrical (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

Eram Talent, a talent acquisition company, is recruiting a qualified and experienced HV Technician - Electrical for an on-site position in Saudi Arabia. The technician works with high voltage electrical systems, carrying out maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs safely and efficiently, and contributes to important projects within a team of skilled professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair high voltage electrical equipment and systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and inspections of electrical systems to improve reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and restore system functionality.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards when working on high voltage systems.
• Coordinate with other team members and departments to minimise downtime during maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status and inspection reports.
• Stay up to date with high voltage technology and industry best practices, and take part in safety training.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience with high voltage electrical systems.
• Experience installing and maintaining substations, transformers and switchgears.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety protocols and high voltage regulations.
• Willingness to work in various conditions and on call as required.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to read electrical schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Good communication and organisational skills, able to work independently and in a team.
