ICS Cybersecurity Engineer – NEOM Green Hydrogen Project

About the role

Air Products is seeking an experienced ICS Cybersecurity Engineer to join the NEOM Green Hydrogen Project team in Duba, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on field verification of cyber assets, ensuring compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and cybersecurity standards throughout the construction, commissioning and hand‑over phases.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site verification of design, implementation and testing of cyber assets to meet regulatory and project cybersecurity requirements.
• Develop and maintain a cybersecurity asset register and related documentation under the guidance of the Site Cybersecurity Lead.
• Lead risk‑assessment workshops, document findings and implement recommended controls for both Air Products designs and vendor‑supplied packages.
• Validate firewall rules, secure remote‑access configurations, endpoint hardening, asset inventory, access‑control settings and logging before system energisation.
• Coordinate with engineering, pre‑commissioning, commissioning and client operations teams to resolve cybersecurity issues and ensure smooth hand‑over.
• Support the creation of architecture standards and FAT/SAT/CSAT procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in large‑scale construction, pre‑commissioning, commissioning, start‑up and hand‑over of industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity regulations applicable to process control and automation systems.
• Ability to work on a rotation schedule (8 weeks on / 2 weeks off) in a remote site environment.
