ICS Finance Intern

About the role

The Finance Intern will support the finance team by gathering and analysing financial data, preparing reports, and assisting with business case development. This position offers exposure to financial modelling, economic research, and policy implementation within a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility and assessment work for current and proposed projects to aid business case development.
• Collect data from standard sources, format it, and produce accurate financial reports.
• Perform economic research using existing systems and protocols to support research programs.
• Provide basic financial modelling inputs for business cases, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Extract and combine data to generate standard reports and access specific information via data management systems.
• Assist in developing and delivering financial policies, guidelines, and protocols to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Resolve complex queries from internal or external stakeholders regarding policies and procedures.
• Participate in assessment, development planning, and training activities to build capabilities.
• Stay updated on relevant technology, regulations, and industry best practices through continuous learning.
