About the role

The Mechanical Engineer will support the design, stress analysis, and structural development of high‑precision inertial systems such as IMUs, gyroscopes, accelerometers and integrated navigation solutions. The role focuses on 3D CAD modelling, heat‑transfer management and geometric tolerancing to ensure reliable housings and mounts.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in 3D CAD modelling and generate detailed engineering drawings using Autodesk Inventor or equivalent software.
  • Perform basic stress analysis and finite‑element simulations to evaluate structural integrity under dynamic and static loads.
  • Apply heat‑transfer principles and thermal‑management techniques to maintain sensor stability across operating temperatures.
  • Use GD&T and tolerance stack‑up analysis to guarantee precise alignment and repeatable assembly.
  • Incorporate design‑for‑manufacturability and design‑for‑assembly considerations for CNC machining and 3D‑printed parts.
  • Support prototype building, laboratory testing and validation of structural and thermal models.

Required profile

  • Saudi national as required by local employment regulations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Engineer membership in the Saudi Council of Engineers (Engineer Grade category).
  • Fresh graduate (0–2 years of experience); academic projects or internships in mechanical design are a plus.

Required skills

  • Proficiency in 3D CAD modelling, preferably Autodesk Inventor.
  • Basic knowledge of stress analysis and FEA tools such as ANSYS or ABAQUS.
  • Solid understanding of engineering dynamics, statics and heat‑transfer principles.
  • Familiarity with GD&T, technical drawing standards and tolerance analysis.
  • Awareness of manufacturing processes including CNC machining and 3D printing.
  • Knowledge of thermal‑management techniques (conductive cooling, heat sinks, thermal interface materials).
