Information Technology Engineer

About the role

Penspen is seeking an experienced Information Technology Engineer to support the Project Management Services (PMS) team. You will ensure secure, efficient operation of project‑related communication and data systems in Alkhafji, Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Provide IT systems support and network management for the PMS team.
• Maintain and troubleshoot local and cloud‑based infrastructure, including servers, databases, and network hardware.
• Support implementation and upkeep of document‑management, collaboration, and reporting platforms used by PMS and the client.
• Ensure cybersecurity compliance and data integrity across all project systems.
• Coordinate with client IT departments to align PMS IT systems with corporate standards.
• Deliver technical assistance to project staff and manage software licensing, access control, and data backup procedures.

Required profile

• Eight (8) years of experience in engineering and supervising network and communication systems, or twelve (12) years total with at least six (6) years in that area.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Hardware and Networking, or a diploma in the same fields.
• Willingness to work onsite in Alkhafji, Saudi Arabia.
