Information Technology Specialist

About the role

Amaala Yacht Club, developed by Red Sea Global in the Triple Bay Marina on the northwestern coast of Saudi Arabia, is looking for an Information Technology Specialist. The role supports the delivery, operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of IT services and solutions, providing technical support, assisting with day-to-day IT operations, taking part in technology projects and helping achieve departmental and organisational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first and second-level technical support for users, devices, systems and IT services
• Maintain the availability, reliability and performance of IT systems and services
• Support installation, configuration, maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of technology solutions and equipment
• Assist with IT project implementation, system upgrades and operational initiatives
• Support business applications and coordinate with vendors and service providers
• Maintain IT documentation, asset inventories, records and support logs
• Monitor system performance, support information security, data protection and compliance, and help with business continuity and disaster recovery
• Provide technical assistance for meetings, events and operations, collaborate with internal departments and stay updated on emerging technologies

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, information systems or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in IT or a related technical support role
• Basic understanding of IT operations, systems, applications and support practices
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication and customer service skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities

Required skills

• Technical troubleshooting and IT infrastructure, hardware, software and end-user support
• Networking fundamentals (wired and wireless)
• Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365
• IT service management principles, asset management and documentation
• Basic cybersecurity and data protection knowledge
• Advantage: familiarity with hospitality, retail and business systems, POS, property management systems, collaboration tools, AV and meeting room technology
