Senior Manager - Digital Marketplaces (B2B & B2C)

About the role

Red Sea Coastal Trading Company, a supply chain and logistics subsidiary of Red Sea Global, is looking for a Senior Manager to lead its B2B and B2C digital marketplaces across web and mobile channels. The role owns the marketplace technology roadmap and leads internal teams and delivery partners to deliver reliable, secure and scalable capabilities integrated with SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities

• Own the marketplace strategy, product roadmap and backlog, turning business priorities into phased releases and measurable outcomes.
• Lead platform selection, RFPs and build-versus-buy decisions, and set the solution architecture with Corporate Technology.
• Build B2B features such as account structures, contract pricing, credit limits and self-service returns, and B2C features such as search, cart, checkout, payments, delivery slots and order tracking.
• Enable supplier and seller onboarding, product approval, catalog feeds, order acceptance and commission and settlement workflows.
• Manage order management and fulfillment workflows, availability checks, inventory reservations, split orders, returns and proof of delivery.
• Set up interface contracts, monitoring, alerts, exception queues and automated retries, and own testing, launch and stabilization.
• Embed identity and access controls, audit trails, data protection and fraud controls with Corporate Technology, Cybersecurity, Legal and Finance.
• Own service management, incident escalation, backup and disaster recovery arrangements.
• Define dashboards and KPIs, guide Power BI and Data Lake requirements, and run controlled experiments to improve performance.
• Lead readiness planning, training and handover, and manage budgets, vendor proposals and delivery reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in digital commerce, marketplace technology, software delivery or enterprise platforms, including five years leading teams, programs or platform delivery.
• Proven personal accountability for designing, developing, launching and scaling an e-commerce marketplace, with experience across B2B and B2C commerce.
• Experience leading commerce-to-ERP integrations and end-to-end order-to-cash and financial reconciliation; direct SAP S/4HANA integration (SD, MM, FI/CO) strongly preferred.
• Experience owning platform launch and live operations, including testing, releases, incident management and delivery budgets.
• Experience building marketplace capabilities at Amazon, noon or another established e-commerce marketplace.
• Familiarity with Arabic and English digital experiences, and experience in supply chain, wholesale, retail, hospitality or the GCC market.
• A postgraduate qualification or recognized product, architecture, delivery or service-management certification is an advantage.
