Information Technology Support Technician - Hardware & Systems Maintenance

About the role

The Information Technology Support Technician – Hardware & Systems Maintenance will work on‑site in the Riyadh Region, providing day‑to‑day technical assistance for desktops, laptops and related peripherals. The role focuses on ensuring minimal downtime by installing, configuring, maintaining and repairing hardware assets across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical support for desktop computers, laptops, printers and peripheral devices.
• Install, configure, upgrade and perform routine maintenance on hardware components.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware failures, perform computer repairs and component replacements.
• Support printer setup, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Respond to IT tickets, document solutions and escalate complex issues when required.
• Collaborate with the broader IT team to maintain stable, secure and reliable end‑user systems.
• Follow company standards, safety and security guidelines while working on‑site.

Required profile

• Strong technical support background with hands‑on experience on desktops and laptops.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware, operating systems and connectivity problems.
• Experience in printer and peripheral device support.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and basic networking concepts (LAN/WAN).
• Knowledge of IT ticketing tools and incident handling processes.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science or related field; certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft are a plus.
• Effective communication in English, attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced industrial environment.
• Willingness to work on‑site and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
