Infrastructure Lead (Wet/Dry Utilities)

About the role

SYSTRA is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Lead to drive the integration of wet and dry utilities on a landmark master‑planning project in Riyadh. The role requires strong leadership, coordination across multiple disciplines, and effective liaison with authorities and utility providers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all infrastructure activities, ensuring seamless integration of water, wastewater, stormwater, power, telecom and other utility networks.
• Act as the primary contact between the project team, government authorities, utility companies, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Develop and oversee infrastructure strategies aligned with project deliverables, budgets and timelines.
• Facilitate multidisciplinary coordination among architects, planners, civil engineers and utility specialists.
• Manage design reviews, approvals and permitting processes with local authorities.
• Identify and resolve complex utility challenges using proactive risk management and innovative solutions.
• Prepare and present detailed progress reports and technical updates to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience (approximately 180 months) in infrastructure engineering, preferably within the GCC region.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder‑management experience on large‑scale utility projects.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian or GCC regulatory frameworks and ability to communicate in Arabic is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on sustainable and resilient design.
