Integrated Commercial Director – Field Development

About the role

The Integrated Commercial Director – Field Development will lead commercial strategy for complex upstream field development projects, ensuring proposals and agreements maximise shareholder value while managing technical and contractual risks. You will work closely with technical, legal, finance and operations teams to deliver integrated solutions for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and negotiate proposals, pricing, and commercial structures for integrated field development opportunities.
• Lead commercial structuring, including scope definition, contracting strategy, risk allocation and value proposition.
• Coordinate multi‑disciplinary sales teams (engineering, legal, finance, risk, operations) to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Support drafting, review and negotiation of commercial agreements such as joint operating agreements, asset acquisitions and partnerships.
• Manage long‑term, complex sales processes and senior customer interfaces.
• Apply upstream development knowledge across geoscience and engineering to create technically informed commercial solutions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in E&P business development and upstream field development.
• Proven ability to translate technical development plans into commercial frameworks.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience handling large, strategic opportunities.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders and lead cross‑functional teams.
