Integration Engineer - Fraud Protection

About the role

Group-IB is looking for an Integration Engineer to join its Fraud Protection team. You will help design, build and maintain integrations that enable real‑time detection and prevention of fraud for financial institutions and large organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain integrations with anti‑fraud solutions using APIs.
• Gather and analyse product requirements from customers and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed implementation and integration documentation, including API specifications and technical user stories.
• Collaborate closely with the technical team, coordinate tasks and drive solution implementation.
• Conduct session and transaction analysis, leveraging tools such as Kubernetes for troubleshooting and monitoring.
• Provide second‑line support, troubleshooting issues and delegating tasks to developers when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in system/technical analysis, development or a similar role.
• Strong self‑learning ability and proven problem‑solving skills.
• Experience turning business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ability to drive projects with full accountability, including leading workshops and writing documentation.
• Familiarity with project‑management best practices and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with big‑data engines such as SQL, Elastic, Cassandra or ClickHouse.
• Hands‑on experience with Go, Python or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of version‑control systems, preferably Git.
