Intensive Care Clinical Specialist

About the role

The Intensive Care Clinical Specialist provides high‑quality patient care within the intensive care unit, adhering to Fakeeh Care policies, clinical standards, and granted privileges. The role involves direct patient interaction, documentation, and collaboration with attending physicians.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in accordance with granted privileges and Fakeeh Care protocols.
• Document all care activities following Fakeeh Care documentation policies.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
• Assist or perform medical/surgical procedures within scope of privileges.
• Provide timely medical reports in the required format.
• Participate in departmental meetings, scientific activities, and junior staff training.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and uphold safety and confidentiality standards.

Required profile

• Board/Fellowship/Master level education in the relevant medical specialty.
• Licensure to practice as per regional health authority (e.g., SCFHS, DHA) and BLS certification.
• Completed required clinical experience in recognized medical centers as mandated by the regional authority.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, physicians, and non‑medical staff.
