Interior Design Manager – Middle East

About the role

The Interior Design Manager will be based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, overseeing interior design projects across the Middle East. The role leads design coordination, reviews design deliverables, and supports on‑site supervision to ensure that design intent is faithfully executed during construction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage interior design coordination among architects, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Review and validate interior design drawings, layouts, details, shop drawings and IFC packages for compliance with specifications, local regulations and international standards.
• Identify design clashes and propose practical, buildable solutions.
• Provide design clarifications to construction teams, conduct site visits and ensure implementation matches approved drawings and quality standards.
• Oversee development of detailed interior design documentation, finishes, materials and maintain organized revision records.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors, present design concepts and updates, and support project leadership with reporting.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned by the Global Project Director or Vice President MEA.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of interior design experience, with a focus on project coordination and delivery.
• Proven experience on projects in Saudi Arabia and familiarity with Saudi codes and standards.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials and site coordination.
• Excellent spoken and written English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Experience in large‑scale commercial, hospitality or mixed‑use projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of SketchUp for 3D visualization and coordination.
• Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint for presentations and reporting.
• Familiarity with BIM tools such as Revit (advantage).
