Internal Audit Manager

About the role

Albawani, a leading construction and contracting group in Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to lead the execution of its annual internal audit plan. The role reports to the Director of Internal Audit and collaborates closely with senior stakeholders across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the assigned portion of the annual audit plan on time and within budget.
• Approve, review, and supervise all audit programs to ensure quality and relevance.
• Monitor audit cycle time, budget vs. actual, and attendance compliance.
• Track ARC decisions, provide monthly status updates, and ensure timely implementation of actions.
• Conduct regular QA reviews of supervised audits to maintain internal audit standards.
• Collect stakeholder feedback and maintain a minimum satisfaction score of 75%.
• Fulfill annual professional education requirements (40 CPE hours) and lead at least two knowledge‑sharing sessions per year.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of audit experience, preferably in construction or project‑based industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation is mandatory.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of internal controls, risk management, and audit methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.
