About the role
We are looking for a highly experienced Internal Auditor (CIA) to lead the internal audit function for a diversified manufacturing group in Jeddah. The role focuses on strengthening governance, risk management, compliance and internal controls across multiple business units and operations.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement the group’s internal audit strategy, annual audit plans and risk‑based audit framework.
- Lead financial, operational, compliance and process audits across manufacturing plants and group companies.
- Evaluate effectiveness of internal controls, governance processes and risk management systems.
- Review manufacturing operations, procurement, inventory management, production processes, warehousing and supply‑chain controls.
- Identify operational inefficiencies, control gaps, fraud risks and opportunities for cost optimisation and process improvement.
- Prepare detailed audit findings, reports and recommendations for senior management and the Audit Committee.
- Monitor implementation and closure of corrective action plans.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, IFRS standards, regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support regulatory or special audits as required.
- Conduct investigations, special reviews and fraud risk assessments when necessary.
- Build, lead and mentor the internal audit team, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Provide advisory insights to management to improve operational and financial performance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing or a related field.
- Mandatory professional certification: CIA (Certified Internal Auditor); additional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA or CFE are a plus.
- 8–15 years of progressive internal audit experience, preferably within manufacturing or industrial groups.
- Strong knowledge of internal audit standards, risk management, governance and compliance frameworks.
- Experience auditing manufacturing operations, inventory controls, production costing, procurement and plant processes.
- Excellent analytical, report‑writing and stakeholder‑management skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality and professional ethics.
