Internal Auditor – Operational & Shared Services

About the role

Execute internal audit activities across operational departments and shared services, assessing internal controls, compliance, and operational efficiency. Support the audit team in identifying risks, recommending improvements, and contributing to organizational objectives in line with regulatory requirements and international audit standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct assigned audits of operational processes and shared services following internal audit standards.
• Evaluate the adequacy, efficiency, and effectiveness of internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and risks, providing practical recommendations to strengthen control environments.
• Prepare accurate and comprehensive audit documentation, working papers, and draft audit reports for review.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and escalate significant unresolved issues.
• Coordinate with process owners and operational teams to facilitate audit procedures and respond to audit queries.

Required profile

• Participate in training and development programs to enhance audit skills and knowledge.
• Support junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, professional work environment.
