Investment Director – Remote, Full‑Time

About the role

We are seeking an Investment Director to lead research and oversee the end‑to‑end investment process for a Dubai‑based investment firm with a global, remote workforce. The role combines deep market knowledge, rigorous analysis, and operational oversight to enhance portfolio performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investment due diligence: source, screen, and evaluate opportunities across strategies and geographies, assess performance, risk metrics, and manager capabilities.
• Coordinate the due‑diligence lifecycle: work with internal teams, maintain trackers, and produce comprehensive investment memoranda for senior leadership.
• Conduct macro research and market analysis: monitor economic data, central‑bank policy, and geopolitical events to generate scenario analyses and actionable insights.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of experience in investment management, research, portfolio management, or institutional allocation.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Finance, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Strong written communication and proven ability to manage multi‑stakeholder projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python for investment analysis and portfolio management.
• Expert use of Bloomberg and other industry‑standard investment tools.
• Familiarity with R, SQL, and emerging‑market investment contexts (preferred).
