Investment Director – Remote

About the role

We are a Dubai‑based investment firm seeking an experienced Investment Director to lead research and manage the end‑to‑end investment process. This remote, high‑autonomy position combines deep market knowledge with rigorous operational execution to enhance portfolio performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead due‑diligence, source, screen and evaluate investment opportunities across multiple strategies and geographies.
• Conduct in‑depth analysis of performance, risk metrics, investment processes and team capabilities.
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with managers to monitor strategy evolution and organizational stability.
• Coordinate the full due‑diligence lifecycle, track progress and produce comprehensive investment memoranda for senior leadership.
• Monitor macroeconomic data, central‑bank policy and geopolitical developments to inform market analysis and scenario planning.
• Distill actionable insights into periodic briefs for senior decision‑makers.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of professional experience in investment management, research, portfolio management or institutional allocation.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Finance, Mathematics, Physics or a related quantitative field.
• Deep understanding of financial markets and complex instruments.
• Exceptional research, written communication and project‑coordination abilities.

Required skills

• Python programming for investment analysis and portfolio management.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg and other industry‑standard investment tools.
• Additional programming knowledge (R, SQL) is a plus.
