Investment Manager

About the role

The Investment Manager will lead the evaluation, execution and monitoring of investment opportunities, reporting directly to the CFO. This senior position focuses on rigorous analysis, financial modeling, M&A execution and portfolio performance to maximize returns.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and assess potential investment opportunities through financial, commercial and feasibility analyses.
• Conduct market and sector research to source attractive deals locally and regionally.
• Develop and maintain financial models (NPV, IRR, ROI, payback, sensitivity and scenario analysis).
• Manage the company’s investment portfolio, track performance and recommend actions to optimise returns.
• Lead M&A transactions, strategic partnerships and joint ventures from initial screening to closing.
• Coordinate financial, legal, commercial, operational and technical due‑diligence processes.
• Assess investment risks and propose mitigation, restructuring or exit strategies.
• Support deal structuring, financing alternatives, cost‑of‑capital analysis and negotiations with banks and investors.
• Prepare investment proposals, reports and presentations for senior management and the Investment Committee.
• Contribute to the development of investment policies, governance frameworks and approval procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in an investment management role.
• Proven track record of evaluating and executing investments and transactions.
• Strong hands‑on experience in M&A, strategic partnerships, joint ventures and due diligence.
• Preferred MBA or Master’s in Finance/Investment and professional certifications such as CFA or CAIA.
