IT Application Business Analyst

About the role

The IT Application Business Analyst will support the IT team’s mission by bridging business needs and technology solutions in a manufacturing environment. Working closely with internal stakeholders, external partners and suppliers, the analyst will help configure, develop and maintain ERP and related production applications.

Key responsibilities

• Assist local business teams with current and future ERP and manufacturing solutions, clarifying requirements and proposing solutions.
• Manage project and development work with internal teams and external vendors, ensuring quality, standards compliance and timely delivery.
• Deliver configuration and development tasks for IT systems, including estimation, planning, execution and progress reporting.
• Create and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, support models and solution changes.
• Work on the assigned backlog, delivering iterations and supporting on‑call critical manufacturing systems.
• Develop and share expertise in business processes, applications and digital manufacturing technologies.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Minimum three years of experience in IT solution development, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Solid experience operating ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite preferred; SAP beneficial) as a specialist or key user.
• Experience coordinating with external partners, handling technical clarifications, change management and quality assurance.

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), planning and logistics applications
• Basic BI/reporting tool usage
• Understanding of IT/OT landscape requirements in manufacturing
• Agile development and DevOps practices, including end‑to‑end software delivery lifecycle
