IT Application & Systems Analyst

About the role

Eram Talent is looking for an IT Application & Systems Analyst to join its team in Dhahran. The role covers analysing, designing and implementing IT applications and systems that support organisational objectives, working with stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues and improve system performance and user experience. The workplace is on site, 8 hours per day.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a data management strategy supporting the Operational Excellence & Compliance Division's safety goals.
• Design, build and maintain dashboards and reports on safety performance, and develop data collection, storage and analysis solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise data requirements and maintain data quality control processes.
• Mentor junior team members and guide them in developing their skills.
• Work with the IT department on new software and systems: define requirements, take part in design and development, test and ensure quality, and train and support end users.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements on data management and safety reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry with a strong background in safety.
• Strong knowledge of business analysis, data analysis and reporting techniques.
• Experience with data management and strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Team player able to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Certification in business analysis (CBAP or CMC) preferred.

Required skills

• Programming languages such as SQL, Python and R.
• Data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Knowledge of machine learning and AI techniques, including predictive analytics and data mining.
• Cloud-based business analysis tools and platforms preferred but not required.
