IT Director – Senior Leadership Role

About the role

Our client, a well‑established organization in Saudi Arabia, is looking for an experienced IT Director to shape and execute its technology strategy. This senior leadership position will drive digital transformation, ensure robust IT governance, and align technology initiatives with business growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the overall IT strategy in line with corporate goals.
• Lead and develop cross‑functional IT teams covering infrastructure, applications, security, and support.
• Oversee enterprise systems, ERP platforms, cloud infrastructure, and network operations.
• Drive digital transformation projects that support the organization’s growth agenda.
• Establish IT governance, policies, and cybersecurity frameworks, ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations (NCA, SAMA/CITC).
• Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and technology procurement.
• Ensure business continuity, disaster recovery, and data protection standards.
• Partner with senior leadership and department heads to identify technology‑driven improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (Master’s or MBA is a plus).
• 15+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record in IT strategy, infrastructure management, and digital transformation.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi regulatory and data‑protection requirements (e.g., NCA ECC, PDPL).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Saudi or GCC experience preferred; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
