IT Security Engineer (Makkah Al-Mukarramah)

About the role

The IT Security Engineer will design, build, and enforce security policies and protocols to protect the organization’s computing infrastructure from cyber threats. Based in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, the role focuses on advanced network and endpoint protection, ensuring resilience against breaches.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls.
• Administer Forti Web Application Firewall (WAF) to safeguard web applications.
• Maintain enterprise‑grade antivirus and endpoint protection solutions.
• Operate FortiMail email security gateways.
• Implement and support Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) frameworks.
• Deploy and integrate Network Access Control (NAC) solutions.
• Manage centralized authentication systems such as TACACS+ and RADIUS.
• Monitor and tune intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
• Conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and produce compliance reports.
• Configure cloud networking services including VPN gateways, virtual network peering, and cloud firewalls.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, CIS or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in technical security support.
• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) in Security.
• Fortinet NSE certifications (Level 5, 6, 7 or higher).
