IT Security Operations Associate

About the role

The IT Security Operations Associate will help protect the organization’s IT infrastructure, endpoints, user identities, and data. Working closely with technical and business teams, the associate will implement security controls, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote best practices in data protection.

Key responsibilities

• Implement a stable, secure, and optimized endpoint environment for employees.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enforce security policies, standards, and regulations.
• Drive the use of data classification and labeling tools across the organization.
• Generate compliance and data‑protection reports for management.
• Conduct periodic access reviews and audits to meet data‑protection regulations.
• Define access requirements with business units and implement appropriate access controls.
• Provide training and support on Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems and data‑protection best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (required).
• Master’s degree in a related field (preferred).
• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CIAM, CISA or CompTIA Security+ (preferred).
• 0‑3 years of experience in security operations, IAM or data‑protection roles.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and effective communication abilities.
