IT Security Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated IT Security Specialist to join our team and manage enterprise security infrastructure. The role focuses on firewall administration, network access control, and continuous monitoring of security events across perimeter, extranet, and data‑center environments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain firewalls (perimeter, extranet, data‑center) and configure policies, NAT, ACLs, VPN access, and security zones.
• Administer Aruba ClearPass NAC for endpoint authentication, device profiling, and policy enforcement.
• Monitor firewall logs, NAC alerts, VPN activity, and security events to detect anomalies.
• Implement network segmentation and Zero‑Trust controls between users, servers, third‑party networks, and internet‑facing services.
• Review firewall change requests and enforce access‑control best practices.
• Support vulnerability remediation, patch management, and system hardening.
• Collaborate with network, infrastructure, and application teams to resolve security and connectivity issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation for firewall rules, NAC policies, and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in IT or network security.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Aruba ClearPass, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE, CCNA Security) are a plus.
