IT Support & Venue Technology Specialist (7‑Month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Support & Venue Technology Specialist to provide end‑to‑end technical support for stadiums and tournament venues in Jeddah during a 7‑month fixed‑term contract. The role covers venue preparation, technology testing, rehearsals and live football tournament operations, requiring flexibility for evenings, weekends and match‑day peaks.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑ and second‑line IT support to venue teams, contractors and operational stakeholders.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, mobile devices and other IT equipment.
• Resolve hardware, software, Microsoft 365, email, user‑access, network, Wi‑Fi and VPN issues.
• Log, prioritize and track incidents using the designated help‑desk ticketing system.
• Set up and test IT equipment in stadium offices, accreditation areas, workforce centres, meeting rooms and control rooms.
• Conduct technology checks before rehearsals, match days and live tournament activities.
• Operate the venue IT help desk during live events, responding immediately to incidents and coordinating with network, AV, access‑control and specialist teams.
• Maintain incident logs, arrange temporary work‑arounds and escalation support to minimise disruption.
• Prepare, issue, track and recover IT equipment, keeping accurate asset registers and inventory reports.
• Follow IT security, cybersecurity, access‑control and data‑protection policies and produce daily incident reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in IT support, desktop support or help‑desk environments.
• Previous experience supporting stadiums, football tournaments or major live events is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
• Experience troubleshooting wired networks, Wi‑Fi and VPN connectivity.
