Junior Design Engineer – Wastewater Treatment (KSA)

About the role

Veolia is looking for a motivated Junior Design Engineer to join its Water Technologies team in Saudi Arabia. You will contribute to the design of wastewater treatment plants, ensuring compliance with local environmental regulations and supporting the company’s ecological transformation mission.

Key responsibilities

• Design wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) processes in line with applicable standards.
• Prepare engineering calculations, process flow diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to develop feasible solutions.
• Support the preparation of technical documentation and project reports.
• Participate in site visits and provide technical assistance as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum GPA: Very Good.
• Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Knowledge of environmental standards and regulations for wastewater treatment.
• Familiarity with process design concepts for water treatment facilities.
