Junior Graphic Designer

About the role

Join IKEA’s Marketing Communication team as a Junior Graphic Designer, creating high‑quality visual assets that support both external campaigns and internal communications. You will help translate creative concepts into on‑brand designs that engage customers and reinforce IKEA’s corporate identity.

Key responsibilities

• Create and adapt visual assets for marketing campaigns, promotions, corporate announcements, PR initiatives and internal communications across all IKEA subsidiaries.
• Design content for social media, paid digital media, direct marketing, OOH, consumer websites, apps, in‑store touchpoints, corporate sites, employee intranets and presentations.
• Produce assets in multiple formats and sizes, ensuring compliance with channel‑specific specifications.
• Maintain strict adherence to IKEA brand guidelines, visual identity, tone of voice and toolkits.
• Support rollout of campaign assets across paid, owned, retail and internal touchpoints.
• Assist with basic motion design, animation and video editing when required.
• Organise source files, templates and final artwork for efficient reuse.
• Collaborate with marketing, e‑commerce, media and other internal stakeholders to meet deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional graphic design experience.
• Experience creating assets for social media and corporate communications.
• Basic knowledge of animation, motion graphics and video editing.
• Familiarity with digital design specifications and platform requirements.
