Junior Structural Design Review Engineer (Civil)

About the role

Join SGS in Riyadh as a Junior Structural Design Review Engineer, supporting the Design Review Team in evaluating structural calculations, drawings and models under senior supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing structural calculations, drawings and design models.
• Support preparation of technical reports, BOQs and quantity take‑offs.
• Check compliance with project requirements, Saudi Building Code and other standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary coordination meetings and site visits.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals and help resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
• Eligibility for registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel structure design.
• Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000 or similar.
• Understanding of structural analysis and design principles.
• Basic knowledge of the Saudi Building Code (SBC) is an advantage.
