Key Account Manager (KSA Nationals Only)

About the role

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing relationships with strategic accounts across Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on ensuring the right products reach the right locations at the right time to meet budget targets and support the overall business plan.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and monitor sales for assigned key accounts, coordinating national activities such as listing fees, returns, shelf‑space management and rebates.
• Develop sales plans and budgets to achieve or exceed annual objectives for each key account.
• Build and nurture relationships with key accounts, negotiating contracts, marketing plans and business development agreements.
• Monitor and control the sales budget, ensuring optimal resource utilisation.
• Conduct regular market visits to assess route coverage, competitor activity and identify new sales opportunities.
• Provide key accounts with information on new or improved products and services to boost sales.
• Maintain an efficient distribution network to guarantee product availability.
• Enforce sales administration procedures and liaise with the marketing team for merchandising and promotional support.
• Track Key Account P&L, performance KPIs and manage returns to minimise costs.
• Oversee cash and credit collections from key accounts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain or a related field (preferred).
• 4–8+ years of experience in key account management or modern trade sales within FMCG or non‑food categories.
• Proven experience with ERP/CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, margin management and trade‑spend optimisation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior customer stakeholders.
