Kitchen Stewarding Associate

About the role

The Kitchen Stewarding Associate at Rosewood AMAALA ensures that all back‑of‑house areas meet ultra‑luxury cleanliness and hygiene standards. You will support chefs and the culinary team by maintaining a pristine environment that enables seamless service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, equipment, utensils, and stewarding stores.
• Operate dishwashing and pot‑washing processes according to established procedures.
• Support chefs by providing clean equipment during service periods.
• Handle waste segregation, recycling, and disposal in line with sustainability goals.
• Adhere to HACCP standards and Rosewood food‑safety policies; maintain hygiene logs and cleaning schedules.
• Assist with pest‑control measures and cleanliness audits.
• Report equipment damage or maintenance issues promptly.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and stewarding tools.

Required profile

• Previous experience in stewarding or kitchen operations in a hotel or restaurant environment (preferred).
• Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Physically fit, able to perform manual tasks and stand for long periods.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a multicultural team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HACCP standards.
